Evaluation of the Central Pneumatic 47407-1VGA Air Compressor

The Central Pneumatic 47407-1VGA Air Compressor works best when its air tank is full, but you have to remember that it only holds 2 gallons. We knew up-front that we were not going to be able to use a sander, impact wrench or other high volume air-consuming tool and had to keep reminding ourselves that this was a small portable air compressor. It did do a great for the applications that we listed above. Again our intent was to find a small, light-weight, affordable air compressor that we could use with a generator while out camping and riding, and the Central Pneumatic 47407-1VGA Air Compressor fit the bill perfectly. This is not an air compressor that you would want to buy and use in your garage for larger applications, like with an impact wrench, sander, etc., as it does not have the ability to deliver a large amount of air volume (CFM) to handle such tasks.
